How to: Change the space between controls.
Solution:
Select the desired controls, select the 'Format' menu, and select 'Vertical Spacing' or 'Horizontal Spacing'.
1) If the Database window is not active, activate the Database window.
2) Click the 'Forms' tab in the Database window.

3) Select the desired form from the list box. (The selected from is highlighted.)
4) Click 'Design'.
5) Click to select the desired control. (Handles appear around the control.)
6) Press and hold down the SHIFT key on the keyboard to select the other control.
7) Click to select the other desired control. (Handles appear around the selected controls.)
a) To change the space between controls vertically, do the following:
1] Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Vertical Spacing'. (A submenu will appear.)
2] Do one of the following:
a] Select 'Increase' from the submenu.
b] Select 'Decrease' from the submenu.
c] Select 'Make Equal' from the submenu.
NOTE: When using Vertical Spacing, the control on top remains put.
b) To change the space between controls horizontally, do the following:
1] Select the 'Format' menu and select 'Horizontal Spacing'. (A submenu will appear.)
2] Do one of the following:
a] Select 'Increase' from the submenu.
b] Select 'Decrease' from the submenu.
c] Select 'Make Equal' from the submenu.
NOTE: When using 'Horizontal Spacing', the control that is farthest remains put.
